David Speed is an artist based in East London. He is known for his series of neon paintings, a style that has enabled the artist to create his own characteristic and unique style, which includes his decision not to sign his works as he believes that they are self-identifying.

David, who started painting at an early age and whose artistic career spans over 20 years, has worked both informally and formally as a mentor for various young artists. He also presents the “Creative Rebels” podcast, designed to drive creativity by sharing talks and stories with experts working in various areas of the creative industries.
